We have the honour to inform you that we

have recently been in negotiation with Mesars. The Hong, kong

Tramways Ltd., in connection with our using their overhead

cable standards as sites for the above mentioned signs,

and we have arrived at an understanding with them whereby

we are permit ted to use their standards for such purpose.

The Tramway Co. inforu us that there are

regulations governing the minimum height from the ground

at which road signs may be erected, and we beg to enquire

for some information on this point.

With reference to our letter of the 22nd

April, we shall be very pleased to have your views and

would be glad to hear if you wish us to make the warning

symbols mentioned.
